IES Infrastructure Solutions Acquires Steel Fabrication Facility in Texas

CANTON—May 19, 2026—IES Infrastructure Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc. (“IES”) (NASDAQ: IESC), announced today that it has acquired a steel fabrication plant in Abilene, TX, consisting of a 176,000 square feet facility located on approximately 48 acres of land, together with the related machinery and equipment and members of the onsite workforce. This new Abilene plant will operate under the Freeman Enclosure Systems name, focusing on generator related products including sound attenuated enclosures, diesel fuel tanks and exhaust plenums.

Combined with our existing fabrication plants in Ohio, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin we have established over 3,100,000 square feet of fabrication space to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
