Formation of IES Infrastructure

In September 2013, MISCOR Group, Ltd, merged with and into a wholly-owned subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: IESC) to form IES Infrastructure Solutions.

May 2015

Acquisition of Southern Rewinding & Sales

IES Infrastructure expanded its industrial services through the acquisition of Southern Rewinding and Sales, a Columbus, Georgia-based company specializing in electric motor repair, rewinding, and related field services.

Operating under their parent company Magnetech, Southern Rewinding strengthens IES’ ability to serve customers along the Gulf Coast and provide additional capacity to grow its electromechanical repair and maintenance operations in energy, industrial, and manufacturing industries

October 2015

Acquisition of Calumet Armature Electric

With the acquisition of Calumet Armature Electric, based in Illinois, IES Infrastructure improved its electrical motor design, manufacturing, assembly, and repair capabilities. Calumet’s expertise in industrial and transit systems expands IES’ footprint in the Chicago area, supporting targeted growth in the transit and heavy industrial markets. The acquisition advances IES’ long-term goal of offering engineered electrical and mechanical solutions to infrastructure clients.

June 2016

Acquisition of Technibus

IES Infrastructure took a major step towards custom-engineered electrical solutions by acquiring Technibus, a Canton, Ohio-based manufacturer of metal-enclosed bus duct systems.

Technibus transformed IES from a company focused on repairs and services into one of the leading providers of customer-engineered power distribution systems. The company’s expertise in high-voltage, low-voltage, and medium-voltage bus duct manufacturing increased IES’ ability to deliver electrical infrastructure solutions for data centers and industrial facilities.

March 2017

Acquisition of Freeman Enclosure Systems

In March 2017, IES Infrastructure further diversified its offering by acquiring Freeman Enclosure Systems, a Cincinnati-area manufacturer of custom generator enclosures used by data centers and industrial facilities.

Freeman’s advanced engineering and manufacturing capabilities strengthen IES’ position as a trusted partner for power generation, which enables the company to deliver integrated generator, enclosure, and control systems to customers nationwide.

February 2020

Acquisition of Plant Power & Control Systems (PPCS)

In February 2020, IES Infrastructure acquired Plant Power & Control Systems (PPCS), an Alabaster, Alabama-based manufacturer and installer of custom-engineered power distribution and control systems.

PPCS’ expertise in switchgear, control panels, and power systems integration complements IES’ existing product lines, which further reinforces the company’s strategy to expand electromechanical and power distribution solutions for industrial and commercial applications.

November 2020

Acquisition of Wedlake Enclosure Systems

Wedlake Enclosure Systems, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, joined IES Infrastructure in November 2020.  Wedlake is a manufacturer of custom generator enclosures serving data centers and industrial clients.

The acquisition expanded IES’ Midwest manufacturing capacity, which increases its ability to meet growing demand for generator enclosures. With Wedlake’s skilled workforce and IES’ operational resources, the company positioned itself for growth in critical infrastructure markets.

April 2024

Acquisition of Greiner Industries

In April 2024, IES Infrastructure acquired Greiner Industries, Inc., a Mount Joy, Pennsylvania-based structural steel fabrication and industrial services company. Greiner’s 450,000-square-foot manufacturing space on a 60-acre campus greatly expanded IES’ heavy fabrication, steel processing, and machining capabilities.  The acquisition supports IES’ continued growth in data centers, infrastructure, and large-scale industrial projects, while still maintaining the Greiner name and reputation.

January 2025

Acquisition of Arrow Engine Company

In January 2025, IES Infrastructure acquired Arrow Engine Company. Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Arrow is one of the leading providers of engines, generator sets, compressors, and replacement parts for natural gas production and oil & gas markets. The acquisition includes a 130,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and expands IES Infrastructure’s portfolio. With this addition, IES now has over 1.5 million-square-feet of manufacturing and fabrication space across facilities in Ohio, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania.

September 2025

Acquisition of Wisconsin Heavy Fabrication

In September 2025, IES Infrastructure completed the acquisition of Wisconsin Heavy Fabrication. Located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, this state-of-the-art facility features 325,000 square feet of production space, 13 acres of laydown area, and access to a deepwater port, making it ideal for large-format, heavy industrial fabrication projects.

The site includes high-capacity overhead cranes, large-scale CNC machine centers, and multiple oversized cutting tables, which allows IES to handle complex structural steel and heavy fabrication work. This acquisition significantly increases IES’ technical capabilities, geographic reach, and production scale.
